PRODUCT CHANGE - Red Pepper is now Habanero
Due to a shortage of Ghost Pepper Chillies we are changing our Red Pepper name and chilli blend. Moving forward this Hot Sauce will be called Habanero and will contain a blend of NZ grown Habanero and Cayenne Pepper. The recipe is the same, but the chilli blend will be different. By using a higher percentage of Habanero (Red Pepper was only laced with Ghost Pepper), this Hot sauce will be hotter with a 4/5 Heat Level. We apologise to customers who became hooked on Red Pepper, but we hope you give Habanero a spin...same taste, just hotter.
Our traditional Habanero Hot Sauce is made with a blend of NZ grown Habanero and Cayenne Pepper. Not as hot as our Carolina Reaper or Ghost Pepper, but hot enough to provide a great scoville burn. Serve with Stir-frys, Pasta, Pizza, Wraps, Burgers and Cheese on Toast. Or mix with butter to make a delicious Buffalo Wing Sauce.
